Janusz Wawrowski and Alexey Botvinov gave recital in Zurich during Odessa Classics Festival 2024.

This is another year of artist’s collaboration. This time they performed in St Peter Kirche pieces by Grieg, Poulenc, Silvestrov and Bacewicz.

Janusz Wawrowski’s participation in the Odessa Classics Festival 2024 was possible thanks to the support of the Adam Mickiewicz Institute and program  “Polish Culture Around the World” and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland

Janusz Wawrowski sat on the jury of the 16th National Piano Chamber Music Competition in Torun. Playing in chamber ensembles is extremely important, and above all, it is a great opportunity to make friends and build musical collaborations. Big congratulations to all the winners of the competition and all the participants!

Thanks also to the K. Szymanowski Music School in Toruń for inviting and promoting chamber music among young artists for so many years.

Violin Odyssey: Bacewicz Project

Together with Alexey Botvinov, Tymoteusz Bies (piano) and Kamil Karolak (electronics), Janusz Wawrowski opens his latest recording project, which will be a true journey through the violin world of Grazyna Bacewicz. The musical odyssey begins with miniatures for violin and piano as well as solo violin, not always in a classical style. Stay with us to not to miss any release!

This October Janusz Wawrowski gave series of performance in Taiwan for the first time ever!

Together with Baroque Camerata they performed music by Bach, Vivaldi and some Taiwanese surprise as an encore.

Artist gave also Masterclasses for the Baroque Camerata Junior, Hsinchu Senior High School and National Tsing Hua University. Congrats to all students for their amazing work!

Together with pianist Mischa Kozlowski, he presents the album “Chopin Inspirations,” in which he looks to the works of Grieg, Paderewski, Noskowski and Sarasate to go back in time and show how the still adored Chopin inspired in the 19th and 20th centuries.

During a gala ceremony at the Kubicki Arcades, Prof. Piotr Glinski awarded artists, animators and people of culture whose activities contribute in a special way to the development, dissemination, as well as protection of culture and national heritage.

The award laureates included Andrzej Sapkowski, Gołda Tencer, Prof. Roman Lasocki, among others.
